From Trainee to 10+ Factory Operations
PNB Leather’s story did not start in an air-conditioned corporate boardroom. In 2007, our founder began as an apprentice trainee on the factory floors of Kolkata, learning every microscopic stage of leather glove manufacturing: hide selection, chrome and vegetable tanning methods, leather splitting, pattern drafting, and heavy-duty sewing.
Driven by a commitment to unyielding durability and precision stitching, he established his own specialized manufacturing unit at Harshi Street, Kolkata in 2010. By maintaining direct control over raw hide grading and Kevlar stitch density, PNB quickly earned the trust of major industrial safety wholesalers and regional distributors across India.
Over the following decade, operations expanded to a decentralized network of 10+ specialized factory units across the Kolkata region, surpassing 20,000 pairs per month capacity. In 2026, the official PNB Leather brand was established to deliver durable, heavy-duty industrial safety gear and private-label contract manufacturing to global buyers worldwide.

1. Raw Material Grading & Tanning
We select premium buffalo and cow hides, split precisely between 1.1mm and 1.6mm thickness. Chrome-tanned for heat and spark resistance or vegetable-treated for tactile flexibility.
2. Precision Hydraulic Die Cutting
Using engineered steel dies, every glove palm, thumb, back, and gauntlet cuff is clicked with sub-millimeter tolerances, eliminating sizing inconsistencies across bulk production runs.
3. Heavy-Duty Kevlar® Assembly
Sewn on specialized industrial cylinder-bed machines using genuine flame-retardant 3-ply and 4-ply Kevlar® thread with welted seams for maximum tear and spark resistance.
4. In-House Batch Quality Control
100% visual and dimensional audit. Gloves undergo tensile pull tests on seams, thermal contact resistance checks, and sizing classification before packaging.
5. Custom Branding & Heat Embossing
Hydraulic heat stamp machines permanently emboss buyer brand logos, model numbers, custom sizing, and private-label artwork onto the leather gauntlets.
6. Global Export & Container Logistics
Export-grade master carton packaging, moisture barrier wrapping, palletization, and direct coordination for FOB Haldia/Kolkata Port or air freight delivery.
